The Different Features You Should Know About Amazon Echo

Amazon Echo is a wireless speaker, but it is capable of many other things also. By using the sound of your voice, you can play songs, search website, you can create shopping lists, online shopping, getting weather notifications and it can control many popular smart-home products even when your smartphone stays in your pocket.
Some Features of Amazon Echo Are Listed Below:
  1. Track a package with Alexa.
You can order items with the help of Amazon Alexa. Alexa will only show you the report of your order with the early delivery date.  You can change settings on Alexa which gives you tracking detail and on getting notifications on your Echo gadget. It will not tell you the information like where is your package reached or the status of your shipment, but it will tell you the date it is estimated to come.
This feature already comes in your gadget as a Google Assistant, but it can’t track your order placed with any online retailer. This feature is not yet in the long list of Google Home.
If you ask Google Home to track your order, it will just respond, “I can’t do that yet.”
  1. Delivery notifications
Google Home does support notifications now for calls and reminders; it can tell you that your order is out for delivery. However, there are no limitations to order from Amazon. In Amazon Echo, you can also enable notifications for knowing your status of Domino’s pizza. Here’s how:
  • Go to the Alexa application.
This app symbol is of a blue speech bubble with a white outline.
  • You call to install the Alexa app on your Android gadget from the Google Play Store or on your iOS device from app store after that sign in with Amazon account.
  • Click on the three line icon.
You will find this icon on the left side of the window.
  • Click Settings.
You will get this at the end of the menu list.
  • Press Notifications.
You have to go down to check it.
  • Click Shopping Notifications.
You will get this on the top of the screen.
  • Switch “Enable” the Notification options.
Click the switch to each of the notifications options to the “Enable” position. When the button is enabled, then it turns into blue, and when it is disabled, then it turns into grey and white.
  1. Play Amazon Prime Music
One of the main features of a smart assistant is to ask it to play music which was stuck in your mind. Amazon Echo and Google Home offer music streaming services like Spotify, SoundCloud, and Deezer. Both the Amazon and Google are competitors, Alexa doesn’t have the feature of playing YouTube Music, or Google Play Music same as Google Home doesn’t have the feature of accessing Amazon Prime Music or Music Unlimited in case you are not a prime member.
  1. Voice remote
If you wish to control your Echo with the voice remote, you can do it by clicking and holding the microphone button on your voice remote. Let’s start with speaking any simple language command. Click and press the microphone button and start speaking you will view the “Listening” pop up appears on your TV.
  1. Donate to charity
Now Alexa has introduced a new feature of accepting the donations to forty-eight chosen charities through your voice strength. Take an example, use the command by saying, “Alexa, donate” and it will ask you to decide which charity you want to support and donate the money. This feature is only available in the US yet, and you can use your Amazon Pay account to complete your online transaction.
