Image
In a recent announcement, the  social media  giant Facebook revealed that Facebook Analytics would no longer be available after 30 June 2021. Marketers have less than three months to export all their data and search for other alternatives. Given how heavily the marketers depend on Facebook Analytics to gauge conversion data, this announcement has come with distinctly short notice. The company quietly published this announcement that it is shuttering Facebook Analytics at the end of June 2021 on Facebook for Business Help Center. If you visit analytics.facebook.com now, it will redirect you to the announcement that reads Facebook Analytics will no longer be accessible after 30 June 2021. However, users can still access their reports, export charts and tables, and explore insights until then. If you want to export your data into a CSV file from Facebook Analytics on your desktop, simply click on the arrow in the top-right corner of each chart or table you wish to export. Faceboo...

YouTube May Introduce Autoplay Controls Inside the Video Player for Desktop Users

Image
A couple of months ago, YouTube had revamped the video streaming experience for Android and IOS users, and it is now back with another exciting update. Google’s most popular video streaming service, YouTube, has begun displaying the autoplay toggle inside the video player on desktop devices. Presently, YouTube’s autoplay toggle lies in the right-hand sidebar as part of the “Up Next” section that shows the upcoming videos. Back in October, the company had introduced the same feature for Android users, but it seems like they are introducing the same for desktop users. With the new update, this autoplay toggle will appear directly within the video player. It will sit right beside the left of the CC and Settings options with a play/pause icon, demonstrating the current state. As part of the video player, this icon will vanish when the user does not hover over it directly, thus presenting a cleaner user interface. This new deployment of the autoplay toggle is believed to make it easier for ...

Meaning, the platform has restricted the ability to test some of its new features to the paid subscribers only. However, we would like to clarify that this feature is nothing like the PIP option (picture-in-picture) that has been provided to the app developers with the release of the new iOS 14.
