Spotify Brings Instagram Stories Format to Spotify Playlists With “Clips”

Image
Jumping on the “Stories” bandwagon, Spotify has announced Spotify Clips. On Monday, at its Stream On event, the music giant introduced Spotify Clips that are much like Instagram and Snapchat Stories. They will be available on Spotify playlists and let artists connect with audiences and fans in a new, different way. Stories are a temporary way to share photos and videos that automatically vanish after 24 hours typically. Without a doubt, users love this format simply because it provides them with a way to share moments from their daily life for a short time. But the continually growing launch of these Stories across various platforms is becoming a piece of a running joke lately as they are even available on platforms where they don’t really fit. However, it only seems natural or somewhat inevitable that a popular app like Spotify would want to jump on the “Stories” bandwagon too. These Spotify Clips are in their testing phase currently. Instagram Adds a New “Recently Deleted” Feature for Removed Content

The popular social networking app Instagram is now introducing a new feature called “Recently Deleted” to provide its users with the opportunity to review their deleted content before removing it permanently. From now on, when a user deletes any content from their account, it will be moved to the “Recently Deleted” folder instantly. Users will then have the option to either permanently remove that content or put it back on their profile if they change their mind later on by restoring it from the same “Recently Deleted” folder. Content such as photos and videos from your profile and Instagram Story, Instagram Stories from your highlights and story archive, reels, direct messages, and IGTV videos will be saved in this folder when you delete it. All content moved to the Recently Deleted folder will be permanently deleted after 30 days automatically. However, in this case, Instagram stories are an exception as they will remain in the folder for up to 24 hours from when they were init...

From the release of Vanish Mode, Reels to enhancements in Instagram Live, and the integration of Instagram DMs with Facebook Messenger, these modifications and additions have indeed contributed towards improving the user experience and app usage. Once again, this popular photo-sharing platform seems to be testing a new interface on its desktop version for viewing Instagram Stories. According to the reports, with the launch of this new layout, Stories will be displayed in a carousel in place of the single tile (like it does currently, consuming the entire space). Nevertheless, the navigation process will remain as it is; users will still be required to either click through the Stories or allow them to play automatically. With the rollout of this new interface, users will, like before, be able to tap/click to proceed to the next story and see what they have already view...
