YouTube Is Testing a New Feature to Hide Video Dislike Counts

  Creating content is no cakewalk, and seeing more dislikes than likes in a video could easily be one of the worst nightmares for any content creator. Moreover, recently internet trolls have begun weaponizing the “Dislike” button to convey their message and mock authentic content. YouTube: Bad News for Content Creators in India and Other Countries

Google’s recent announcement might come across as “bad news” to YouTube  content  creators in India and other countries. The search engine informed all YouTubers via email that it will have to cut US taxes from payments to creators outside the United States. This means the US YouTube creators won’t have to bear any extra tax burden. Google may start deducting this additional tax from YouTube creators outside of the US from June 2021. In its official message, Google said that it would be asking YouTubers to submit their tax information in AdSense over the next couple of weeks. The search giant will use this data to ascertain the right amount of taxes to be deducted, if applicable. Further adding to this statement, the company said in case any YouTuber does not give their tax information by May 31, 2021, it might need to cut up to 24% of their total earnings worldwide.
