Steps to View your Facebook Search History on iOS
If you are on iPhone and want to view your entire Facebook search history, then you can use the below steps to see your Facebook search history from a single day to a month or a year.
  1. Launch ‘Facebook app’ and open the Facebook account of which search history you want to see.
  2. Open ‘Main menu’ by tapping on hamburger icon at the bottom-right corner of your screen.
  3. Go down and open ‘Settings’. It will prompt a menu.
  4. Now, select ‘Activity Log’ from the opened menu.
  5. Tap on ‘Category’ drop-down button on “Activity log” screen.
  6. Tap on ‘Search History’ from the Category options. Tapping on it will open your search history.
On this screen, you’ll see the entire list of your search history with the date.
Steps to view your Facebook Search History on Android
  1. Launch the ‘Facebook app’ and open the Facebook account of which search history you want to see.
  2. Open ‘Main menu’ by tapping on hamburger icon at the top-right corner of your Android screen.
  3. Go down to the ‘Help and Settings’.
  4. And then go for ‘Activity Log’.
  5. Tap on blue ‘Filter’ text on Activity log screen.
  6. And then select ‘Search History’ option from the Activity Log Options. It is near the bottom.
Now, on the next screen, you’ll see your entire Facebook search history with details.
Steps to view your Facebook Search History through the Facebook website
  1. Open ‘Facebook website’ on your device Web browser.
  2. Login with the Facebook account you want to see the search history.
  3. Now, open your ‘Profile’ page.
  4. And click on ‘View Activity Log’ button. It will be on the left side of your Cover Photo, and this will open Activity log page on your screen.
  5. Click on ‘More’ option near the bottom of the left side pane labelled as ‘Filters’.
  6. Click on ‘Search History’ from more options.
Now this will open your entire Facebook search history on your desktop with details.
Steps to delete your Facebook Search History one by one and all at once
All users are able to remove a single search from their Facebook search history with their device. Here is how to do this,
On iPhone and Android:
  1. Open your ‘Facebook Search History’ on your available device by using the above method.
  2. Now, tap the ‘Cross ‘X’ button’ next to the search you want to delete. You can delete as many as search entry one by one from the search history list.
  3. Click ‘Clear searches’ to delete entire search history.
On Facebook Website:
  1. View your ‘Facebook Search History’.
To delete search history one by one,
  1. Click on ‘Edit’ button next to the search entry you want to delete.
  2. Click ‘Delete’ to remove it. Repeat this to remove more items.
